Summer Heat Fire Camp

Summer Heat has been canceled due to COVID-19.

Summer Heat is a week-long, interactive summer camp for girls ages 14-19, hosted by the Colorado Springs Fire Department from July 20-24, 2020, and managed by a group of very dedicated volunteers.  This camp is an opportunity for young women to experience, first hand, the challenges and benefits of a fire service career.  But, it is much more than that: Participants will learn about leadership, cooperative problem solving, teamwork, and they will have a lot of fun along the way!

The camp will be hosted at the Colorado Springs Fire Department Complex (FDC), and will run daily, with some evening activities planned.
